Following on from the halo review....

I bought this club last month in the states on honeymoon (I had a spare couple of minutes).

I went for the 22* 3 iron equivalent.

I've tried hybrids before (Callaway FT3, Cobra Baffler & some snake eyes version) and never really got on with them.

The first impressions of this club however are really positive. I've found it to be excellent from the fairway and 1st cut of rough, launching the ball high & straight about 200-220. It really responds well to a controlled smooth swing. The occasions that I've really tried to hit the cover off the ball have led to dissapointing results.:rolleyes: that has more to do with the bloke swinging the club!!!

Visually it is not much different from the halo, just a slightly larger head

My only problem with it really is off the tee. It launches the ball stupidly high from the tee, even when teed down really low.

Because of this it doesn't really offer an alternative for me off the tee on tight par 4's, long par 3's.

Overall though it performs really well.

I've just got the stock staft.

It is a stiff flex, but feels on the regular end of stiff, if you know what I mean

It doesn't have brand name but states that its;

83g, torque - 3.2, kickpt- mid, tip - 370

this doesn't mean a great deal to me :confused:
