Having trawled the forums for some time now, its becoming apprarent that no one is interested in improving their golf fitness/strength, or discussing at any great length programmes or specific exercises that are useful for the game.

I do Yoga three times a week to help my neck muscles and have a few books, but I would like to hear from members that have actually sought instruction in this area and have noticed results... Anyone?

I undertake overly intense activity once or twice a year, with the full intention of making a regular thing of it.
I also go to the gym episodically ...

Gotta change though ... i'm pushing towards a 38" waist ....

I currently do a lot of gym work to improve my golf, and it is helping massively.

Weights and a lot of core stability stuff in the main as set out by the personal trainer at the gym.

Here is list combined from google and Ernie Els's fitness book and some that I made up. Check out

for good exercises. Kind of difficult to post mine as it is in a table and comes out weird. I don't go to the gym though as I am underage. Do all mine with resistance bands, dumbells, handgrips strength ball, stress ball.Do some stretches and exercises using body weight.
