Winter League: South Essex 15th December

Ok, following on from Longshot's original 15th December thread, I am trying to guage interest in a Winter League event in Essex (the course is called South Essex and it is easily accessable from M25). http://www.crown-golf.co.uk/templates/clubs_golfclub.aspx?id=119

Course drains well in my experience and so I think will make a decent venue for a Winter League event. It's 6520 yards off the yellows so hopefully a decent test. It is a Crown Golf venue so don't expect Wentworth (although I think the facilities are pretty reasonable offering driving range, practice bunker, and a good putting / chipping green.

I have not booked anything yet, but as I am only making it a Winter League event to offer a bit of variety and try to give 3PW and Fieldsy a bit of a break as entertainment officers (;)), I am happy if just a couple of people want to join me for a round - beats Christmas shopping!

Can you please post here if you are seriously interested, and I will then speak to them to check availabilty for required numbers and work out if it is best to book as a society event or just book 1 / 2 tee times.

I have just confirmed two tee off times with South Essex (first one 8.30 am) and am about to pay a £50 deposit.

Funnily enough I was up at The South Essex today spending 90 mins on the putting green with the new putter in my lunch hour.
