Snatch was UK made so possibly doesn't count as world cinema, but what the heck.

Prefer far eastern cinema , Film 4 were doing some really mad Korean films for a while and I'm just about to watch Azumi. Kurosawa stuff is always good, particularly Yojimbo and Kagemusha.
