I saw this website: www.best4balls.com (http://www.best4balls.com)

quite like the one with the child's face on it  ... not

You could get balls made with the face of someone you don't like ...

I use Callaway HX Hot, usually sold as a "medium" priced ball at around £17 or £18 a doz. Also the Titleist Solo is a good ball at a similar price.
If you are looking to spend less than that then its best to keep an eye out for deals, for example my local pro shop is selling last seasons Nike One Black for £15 a doz. If you are after a real cheap ball then Pinnacles can be found quite cheaply, and they aren't bad at all really.

 Good deal!

I'm on HX Tours at the mo, my friend gave me a dozen. Spin, but I think they are hard. Wouldn't pay for a dozen.

Srixon Ad333 are a pretty safe bet, as are NXT Tours.

These would be pretty good for winter, just got some for Dad.

Strata Tour Ultimates - Fantastic value for money ( I think the Top-Flite connection puts a lot of people off:) )

Found these on Ebay - Brand New £9.99 dozen

I tried the AD333 today and agree that it is an excellent ball.
Long off the tee, soft around the green and very durable.
They seem better quality than the Noodles I have been using.

Last year I tested Strata Ace, Super Soft and Tour Ultimate+. I found none of them were durable with the covers scuffing up after 2 or 3 holes.
Compared to the AD333 and Pinnacle Exception which still look nearly new after 18 holes.
I guess premium balls just don't last so long.

Think I will be stocking up with AD333 for the Winter.

I like Titleist PTS Solo and Srixon Soft Feel.

Both are quite firm, so are perfect for winter golf when the greens are quite soft anyway.

I have been using Dunlop DDH balls for my last couple of rounds and they are fine for winter golf.
Only £8 for 2 dozen at sports world.:)
