Say my playing partner in a medal puts his tee shot in a bunker. And say, stupidly, I go and fluff a pitch over it, into the same bunker, and magically, the two balls end up 2 inches from each other. One is in front of the other. Not enough room for either player to hit without hitting or moving the other guys ball... I've been told there's a rule allowing the closer player to mark and let the further guy play, but does this apply in a bunker (since it's a hazard etc).
And say that we just decide, Ok... Mark it with a tee, and replace the ball after. It turns out the tee mark is right in the divot thing taken by the other guy, so the two other playing partners decide, OK, you had a good lie, sitting up, so put it in a similar lie, as near as you can get...
What's the ruling? I made 7 anyway, but just wondering if there is a rule for this, and if my score should have been worse?
