Putter Length and Lie

Putters a very important part of all of our games, but how many of us actually have a putter that is tailored for us? Has anyone been to a proper putter fitment? Whilst browsing I found this site (Putting Zone (http://puttingzone.com/MyTips/lengthlie.html)) and got thoroughly confused by the calculations.

When I was last in the US I noticed in some of the golf stores a Ping "fitting" putter. The shaft length was adjustable and I think so was the shaft angle, that is more or less upright.

So Ping have also spotted an opening to try to tempt the avid golfer into parting with more of their hard earned cash :)

They have a putter fitting service in my pro's shop not tried it yet.
