Quickest way I can think of is Jubilee Line to Finchley Road and then Metropolitan Line to Northwood or Rickmansworth(depending on Watford or Amersham train). From either station it is a 5 minute cab ride to the golf club.

I would guess it would take about 75-80 minutes in total.

Well, I would've been but the resident rageaholic is set for pitch battle on Thursday now, and not showing up would be signing my death warrant.

Shame, 'cos I did want another crack at it...and a chance to get my sunglasses back, eh?

I was planning to have a local.live.com measuring session on Batchworth at lunch time.

Anyone know which tees we're playing off tomorrow?

btw for those who like yardages, we dont actually have a course planner (there is a reason why but its a tad silly)

There are yardage markers (discs) in the middle of each fairway

White = 200 yards

Yellow = 150 yards

Red = 100 yards

All to the middle of the green.

local.live.com is like Google Earth. Just the same, it's got a nifty measuring tool.

No course guide? :confused:

I'll have to make my own then!:rolleyesw:

Google Earth also has the measuring function, but I find that local.live.com is more up to date.

Many thanks to ben for organising this latest Moongolfer escapade.

Highlights were:
Rob's 20 feet of backspin (the ball rolled down a slope on the green)
Chris's "tee'd" approach (his ball had managed to nestle in the branches of a bush)
Dan's JCB impersonation in the bunker on the 16th (the earth moved!)

Thanks for a great round guys.

I don't do Bunker shots.:cry: :cry:

Agreed with the above highlights, although for me it was the 16th tee and Rob saying to me "You going to hit a bad shot off the tee." and i go and put another down the middle.
