Less than a week to go fellas...:D

So who's the hot favourite?

Your driving is reputedly off,
Stu is turning into Shankboy :confusedw:
Chip the LD Beast will be too busy caving in the face of his latest driver
Ben will be too busy thinking about the next curry
Jason will be testing whatever shafts he has just installed to within an inch of their life :D
Coopster will be recovering from listening to me and my inane witterings in a Glasgwegian accent on the journey there.
I'll be hungover (probably) :D

So...that leaves?

You may well be lucky enough to find an almost new TM R7 with Ozik shaft in one of the bins near to the 10th tee. Expect it to be in at least 2 pieces though due to severe contact with a nearby tee marker, bench or knee.

I'll be at Camberley no worries. My days of club throwing are gone, if I have a bad round (ok,ok, when I have a bad round) on Sunday I'll smile and enjoy the scenery. Internally however I'll be imagining wrapping my driver round the "player who is doing best in my group"'s neck

Not really, neither of them is worth the effort with. The Cobra was in really good nick - I'd never put a mark on it. Until last Wednesday that is (BALLS!!!).

The other is a Golf show cheapie. It's cracking round the hosel, so I can't really make out if it's just the paint going or there's something more serious. For £10, I've had my money's worth out of it.

I'd told the Mrs I was going to spend about £200 on a new one. I thnk I'd be better off getting 2 £100 jobbies. But fast......

Can you borrow/demo one off your club Pro for the Camberley event?

Also, while at Camberley, there will be a few MG'ers drivers on show and I am sure they would not mind you having a hit with them if you want to try it.

@Everyone else: Watch Vince score 40 points with only his 3 wood going around Camberley. I believe he has 600 yards to leave on the table between the yellows at his place and the whites at Camberley.

There are quite a few bargains going at the moment it seems at the big retailers. I reckon I started this all off by being unfaithful by borrowing a R7 from my pro shop. Must be karma.:confusedw:

I still have a number of other drivers of various specs. These two were the dependable ones. Ho hum, I'm sure I'll be sorted for Monday.

It really would have been the end if it were the 3 wood though.

40 Points, I doubt.

But Camberley is a lot shorter, 700 yards whites to whites and 500 between yellows.

My course doesn't have anywhere near as many trees, however. Or heather!

It's very interesting to see how handicaps fro different types of course stack up though. I didn't think length made that much difference, but maybe it does. I know that the 6800 odd yards at my course is a long way round in the Winter though.

There I am, minding my own business, trying not to talk myself/anyone else up/down and I find insinuations of doggy handicaps associated with me.

I could win, I could come last... depends what swing turns up on the day :p

1) He has chucked up in my car on the way there and has been left at a service station with his clubs.

2) He has drunk 6 cans of redbull for breakfast and his swingspeed has shot up to 130 mph causing a shank on every shot.

Nowhere in the above title does it suggest that the abuse should only be directed towards those attending the Camberley event, it just asks that all abuse should be made before the Camberely event.
