I am interested to hear how those of you who track thinks other than strokes (GIR, fairways hit, sand saves, # of puts, etc) capture all this data during a round
Is it on a standard scorecard (if so what notation)?
Do you carry a little note book?
Am I turning into a stato and will it help?
Thanks in advance all

I use one card to mark
- my score in the Marker's score column
- in the other columns Fairway hits (Y/N), Sand saves (number of strokes per bunker), GIR (none most the time), Putts and Stableford points.
Which leaves no room for my playing partner's score

I sometimes mark the card for fairway hits, GIR, saves and putts with little scribbles in the box around my score but usually just input it into my PC from memory when I get home.
I don't think how well - or badly - I'm scoring on these as I go round.
Tempted to start using the method where you give yourself one point as you go along for a fairway hit, a GIR, an up-and-down or sand save, or a par and two points for a birdie and see how that pans out. Supposed to make you focus on 'scoring' with each individual shot.
