Not much good on any day, unless you happen to be standing on top of the ball!

One of the golf mags carried out a review of ball finding devices earlier this year - and this one worked if you looked in the dark.
One of my favourite quotes ever, can't remember who by "It's good manners not to pick up a lost golf ball until it has stopped moving"
Useful for finding randomly-dispersed chicken eggs* as well, let's not forget.
*According to seller; I am not responsible for any randomly-dispersed eggs not located as a result of using this product.
