As in the lunchtime post, how about we share great meal ideas?

Here goes....

- Tuna, sharp pan fried and seared (from a fishmonger not a tin)

on a bed of basmati rice, liberally sprinkled with sweetcorn and cashew nuts. A mix of thinly chopped carrots and cabbage coleslaw is a nice side.

It's a 10 out of 10 culinary delight every time.

Over to you....

not sure what's on tonight, it's the girlfriend's turn to "cook". Well, more like bang some ready-made stuff in the oven...

Saturday we have guests and I'm making guinea fowl with sweet potatoes with spinash, cumin and black mustard seeds. And a bit of sauerkraut on the side...:D

Well, Friday is normally curry night for us, but we've got family coming to stay then. And my parents are coming round tomorrow night so..tonight we've got curry!:)

May I suggest Tesco's Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Rogan Josh?

I've eaten curries all over the place. I spent four years at Uni in Manchester and spent manys a happy evening in Rusholme but I'd have to say Tesco make a curry that is a solild 8 out of 10 every time. It's never going to be the best or even close to it, but it beats most of your average dodgy curry houses and at a fraction of the price. Every little penny counts!;)

Tesco's is actually pretty good as far as supermarkets go. :) I would echo that sentiment.

PP - you really worry me. :D At 16 i wouldn't have known what the inside of a supermarket looked like...nevermind have an opinion of the relative merits of each of the players in the market!! :D

He's 16 and a moderator?

Don't want to get all ageist but aren't his hormones going to get in the way of his moderating? ;)

I suppose that depends on what he's moderating....:)
