View Full Version : Kevé is a Yes! man.
Just got back from picking up my Yes! Callie putter from Darth Fader in Troon, thankyou very much Darth. It is in excellent condition and has already been pimped Kevé style on route home. Ian will appreciate this, it now has a nice bright blue grip and a new Scottish Patriot St Andrews flag headcover. A little bit of TLC with some white spirit on the shaft to take off the old price ticket and it really is as good as new, I've had a few putts on the carpet but can't wait until I get to play with it for real on Friday. Delighted I am. (Star wars tribute to Darth incase nobody got it!)

:Lol glad you're happy Kev :)
Make sure you get some time in on the practice green with it first to get used to it, don't want to be rushing out onto the course now do we? :p

You've not even had her on the course and your are thinking resale.... :D
I had a very similar putter a few years back, I'm sure it was a Scotty, very difficult to maintain. The Brass/Copper insert gets very easily discoloured, don't even think about taking it out if the greens have been fertilised it'll turn green. Something happened to mine, can't remember the cause, where the white rubbery parts swelled up and discoloured it could possibly have been brass cleaner that caused it. I know this is really bad but I ended up removing all the rubber parts and 'filling' it in with white silicone window sealer then selling it on ad-trader and got the buyer to meet me at a petrol station. Felt really bad afterwards.
Saying that I've done worse, snapped a Fatshaft driver 2 inches above the hosel, had my repairs guy remove the broken part trim the shaft and re-insert then added a 3 inch extension at the grip end. Sold it for £70 the next day. It must have been the stiffest shaft ever.
Are you gonna have a 905 for Friday Ian, I'm in the market but would like a hit first?
