Hi Andrew
No problem mentioning 'other sites' here. eg Golfmagic is in our directory :)
Just please don't 'bash' them (yet to be made official Rule 3!) :)
Welcome and enjoy.
Looking forward to hearing more tales about golf in Cyprus :)

Had a quick tour round the software - very nice.
Seems this forum has a more tolerant attitude to people posting in other forums, so look forward to active participation.
Along golfing matters, not a bad start to the new season. 2nd in the Ballard, 2nd in the first medal, 1st captains day, so pretty pleased overall.
We also had the first match in our Inter-Club series. Played quite well, finished with 34 points. Could have been better, but on the par 5, 6th, I was sitting pretty just short in 2, when somebody played my ball (sliced it into a bush, then insisted it was his ball). We searched the bush but no luck, so the hole ended up as a blob, rather then a par at worst. Anyway, was a good day out, so won't complaine too much.
Look forward to many more posts, keep them coming

Seriusly, nice bag. :) Did you have it shipped over from England?

Had them assembled in the States. You might have noticed I also have a weak spot for Harrision shafts, and as the SMT dealer in the UK didn't offer the shafts, I went to an retailer in the US.
I've had them since January. Needed a lot of work, but happy to say I'm hitting the ball well now and scoring pretty good.

Anybody ever get a chance to try some Harrison shafts - go for it.
Apart from the ones that are put in some fairly nondescript kit (Loco drivers for example), they do make some damn good shafts.
I can be a bit obsessive about shafts (well more than a bit actually) but since having a chance to try out just about everything available at a golf show in Orlando, I won't play anything else. Well almost, as, for my money, Rifle Spinners still reign supreme for wedges.
