Just wanted to (casually/formerly:p ) ... say hello!
I first bumped into Gord over at golfrewind, then recommended he try golf magic...and now, going full circle I`m pleased to join his new forum. Which looks very promising, so good luck gord & co !
I`m keen to play against any golfers in the Berkshire/Hampshire area...speaking of which, I`m looking forward to giving Donut a game in the very near future ...and hopefully twist the arm of the highly entertaining postee Creosote into having a game sometime shortly thereafter! (hopefully you`re still keen to play Leckford sometime Creosote?)
Anyhow, good to see so many familiar names!
Best Regards, C-B-C :D

Hello,
Wow, only two days ago I was saying it was the Scottish forum, and now the N Hampshire/Berkshire golfers are creating a storm :)
I'm certainly happy to play a few games with you guys. I've got a couple of games lined up this week, but lets get together for something soon.

Triple xl & BT@home,
I`d be interested in meeting up for a game in the near future! Unfortunately my home course only allows me to take one guest at a time...and as I`ve a few games that I `owe` people, so it might take a while for me to contact yourselves! It`s handy that we can `private message` members here and keep in touch!
I`ve already mentioned to Donut that if I can generate enough interest, then I might even be able to arrange a society day at my course at Leckford Hampshire next year! Fingers crossed :p !!!

Hey C-B-C!
Nice to have you on Moongolfer! You'll like it here, there are plenty of smilies to add to the bottom of your posts, no need to 'draw' them anymore. :)
BTW I like what you've done with your avatar, very cool. I've got a bunny with a pancake on its head in my sig.

Glad to see you here! One of my favourite posters...but that could be because i associate you with sweets from my younger years....still good to see you are bolstering the Hampshire ranks.
I used to go out with a girl from near petersfield. She should have been the one...but i was young and foolish :)...so hants has some good memories too :)
All in all a good thing.
Not seen Creo post yet.
RE: PM - i agree. Superb way of organising a game or slagging off the mods :) (only kidding PP :D)

Hello mister...how did you get on with that new television that you were going to buy???? Seem to remember trying (unsucessfully) to talk you into buying a projector instead! Did John Lewis come up to scratch?

I got a the toshiba WLT66 (or something like that) 32inch HD LCD with the 5 year guarantee. It was £999 on the website so i phoned up to place my order and it was actually £750!! Stonking deal with the gaurantee. Cheapest online price was £680 plus P&P.
But I've given my 26" LCD to my mum (generous son that i am) so have now moved the Tosh to my bedroom and will be looking for a new TV all over again (projector will be considered! as the 32" look teeny weeny in my living room I think because it sits further back than the CRT) in a few weeks/months. I am thinking of waiting until January so as to catch sales. I'm actually going to sacrifice quality for size as the prices for quality LCD/Plasma's are ridiculous. £750 is my limit..well maybe a wee bit more LMAO

Sorry i wouldn't want to have the anti-hunting lobby hunting YOU down! :)
I tried electronic clay pigeon shooting once. Wasn't very good but tried real shooting on hols in NZ and i really enjoyed it. I think i got 7 out of 20 or something which i was told was pretty good for a first timer! :) But i think it was pretty close and quite slow :)

You must be the first person in history to have back surgery BEFORE they took up golf!! :)
