The way to do a shortened link is click the globe and chain icon that appears on the menu above the box where you type your post.
I know you may know that already.

Change the text which is in red(i have removed the outside brackets so it does not do the link)
so basically it is the second URL in the link that you change.

after adding the brackets again it looks like below.
