Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius

I don't think this has been posted but I stumbled across this in IMDB tonight -

i) has anyone seen this and is it any good

ii) Cast would suggest its reasonable

iii) Director and writer would suggest otherwise


I'd never heard of this movie and I am quite an avid cinema goer which leads me to think its either aimed at too small a market or its cr*p!

It looks like a "made for tv" movie to me so never went on general release in the UK. Reviews of it sound ok.

When they were making it they advertised locally for extras. I never went but looked forward to it being released. It never was in this country, although I believe it had a release of some sort in the US. I do want to see it some day but have never found it.

This film and another The Greatest Game Ever Played (about the great Harry Vardon get thumped by some American no hoper) are available on Amazon but you need a multi region DVD to watch.
