I've just got back from a trip abroad and popped in to see what had been happening at MG while I'd been away. (Looking good guys) I noticed the 'Who's Online' link and decided to have a look at what everyone was doing. One of the guests was the Google Spider. Does anyone know how often that visits a site?

I think its just an automated bot that goes searching for words to link the web site to, so that google can search on it.
No idea specifically how long it takes to search, or how often it does it, but from what I've seen it appears to be here constantly.

The Camel Spider should never be confused with the spider camel. You get one of these in your boots you know about it.

I've seen these, and they are truly scary. They are so fast you wouldn't believe.
They are not generally as big as the photo suggests, but for a spider they are big enough. They have been known to eat chunks out of people/camels while they sleep.

40 users on line including 17 guests. 12 of those guests are the Yahoo Slurp Spiders. If Yahoo keeps sending in reinforcements the record for users on line will be shattered repeatedly.

Good post Scott, but having seen one, I wasn't going to hang around and see if it
could only go 10 mph
wouldn't eat a nice tasty chunk out of my fat ass
The other point touched on is that they don't like the sun, and they will run at you if your shadow crosses them. I don't know about most of you, but I don't think I can run 10 mph
I work in the Sahara desert and know some rufty tufty oilmen who have run squealing back into the their rooms and hide if they see one on leaving their cabin in the morning when it is still dark.
If they're scared of 'em, I have no problems being scared of 'em as well.
