Seems my course reviews were deleted by the moderators because there were too many of them and that I had shared these reviews on some other golf forums.
The thread is for golf holidays. I post my reviews so fellow golfers can get an idea of what is worth checking out and playing when they visit these areas.
I go to a number of forums to read reviews so I can pick up tips on courses to play and know what to avoid as well as travel advise. These reviews are very helpful to me and I try to reciprocate by posting my own experiences. I travel a lot and seek to help others know what courses are really worth going to and where not to waste their time and money. The USA is large and golf destinations can be expensive. If someone wants to read them, fine. If not, fine also. Don't know what the hang up is. Doesn't seem to be a problem on Shottalk, Golfmagic, golfforum, or golfboards. As I noted to the moderator, sorry if these posts were acceptable. They were provided in the spirit of fellowship.
I will refrain from posting anymore course reveiws on Rockgolfer.

Hi Blu,

As already discussed by PM - they haven't been deleted, just put in a holding area. There were an awful lot at once, etc. and they are available on other websites. How about you post a link or two to where we can find your originals?

Then if anyone of the guys here wants more details about a specific site, he can visit your website. I just don't see the point in replicating content from other websites when a simple link will do.

But if anyone thinks I'm mistaken and would like to see all of Blu's reviews replicated here just let me know.

It's not a big deal for me either way.

Seems like an odd decision to me Gord. As far as I can tell, the guy isn't trying to sell anything, and he doesn't get any kind of reward for getting his post count up on here.

Maybe I'm wrong and this is some kind of advanced internet scam, but I personally actually enjoyed reading a few of the reviews!

I think everything is above board here, but certainly my initial view was "new poster - whoa, spam". I guess we're just too cynical these days.

Blu (Elliott) has posted constructively on a number of topics on Golfmagic. And having seen your avatar on Shottalk, Blu, I see why your handle on GM is "Elliott" :)
