Help - need ideas for Saturday !

Guys, I need to get 5 or 6 people out on Saturday (preferably before lunch) for a game on a decent course in the Surrey/Berks/Hants/West London area.

We have a provisional go on Hankley Common but not before 1 o'clock. It will be a struggle to get round before the light goes which seems a shame at £80 each. Obviously, the better the course, the harder it will be.

One of the guys playing is from Hawaii and I would prefer to get him onto a decent course if at all possible.

Any suggestions ?

It's supposed to be members only before 12.00, but I could usually get out by 11ish before I joined - there's usually a bit of a gap between the last members and first visitors.

Winter green fees now in operation (so £50 instead of £95) and the course is in great condition. If you want to impress your guests try and get on the Longcross as it's a very pretty course.

Chris, thanks - Foxhills is on my list to ring. I've played the Longcross several times and, as you say, it's a nice course.

You could try Camberley Heath - not sure what the cost is though - have a feeling it is approx £75.
