Hi,
I hope everyone is well.
My name is Steve and I am very new to golf. I got a nice email telling me about this site so I thought I may as well check it out, looks good so far.
As I said, Im new to golf, in fact I can only say I have been playing for about 3 weeks now and not as yet on a fully fledged course, but only on driving range and a pitch and putt. I decided to spend a bit of time on a driving range and pitch and putt to try to develope just enough to not make a total ass of myself on the proper courses lol. All I want to be able to do is hit the ball straight consistantly as I feel that way I may not get a great score on a course but will at least be playing more than looking for my ball.
I have so much to learn about golf even though it is only intended as a hobby so I am hoping that by joining sites such as this one that I will learn what I need to know quickly so please feel free to throw info, rules, tips and so on at me.
I am from Hull, is there anyone near by? would be great to have a chat to a local lad/lass.
